WELCOME! We are so glad that you decided to check us out. Our Mission is Worship, Grow & Serve for everyone at Capital City. This includes our kids! Our vision is for them to Worship God, Grow in His word and Serve in their communities and schools. From cradle to middle school, our prayer is to see your child come into a relationship with Jesus and grow deeper in that relationship. Our kids discipleship pathway will help guide your child to learn how to Worship, Grow and Serve. We want your family to experience community, grow spiritually, and build relationships here at Capital City.
Ages
Birth to 3 years
The Nursery Ministry of Capital City is an environment created ESPECIALLY for infants (six weeks) all the way to three years old. We can’t wait to meet you and your child! We know things are busy at this stage of life and your child is learning and growing in amazing ways, so we are ready!
Your children are important to you, and they are important to us! Capital City is focused on providing a nurturing, safe environment for children to learn and become who God made them to be.
If you have infants or toddlers that will be going to the nursery, you can walk into the main entrance and someone will point you in the direction of the nursery. You can feel safe leaving your children in our care! All of our kid's leaders have been background checked and love serving in Kids Ministries.
4 years to 12 years old
At Capital City, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. We want to make sure these three things stick: We were made to Worship God, We are called to Grow in His word, and We should let our light shine to others by serving. While parents are in worship, children will experience Kid's Worship with music, games, and a Bible lesson. Then in Small Group time they will dive more into the Bible lesson from Kids Worship and learn how to apply the Bible to their life. The focus of Capital City Kids is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God's Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. That's why it's important to make sure your child connects with the same friends and same leaders.
If you have children that will attend Kids Church, they will remain in the sanctuary and join their parents in worship until dismissal. Kids will be dismissed and exit the sanctuary immediately before the sermon. After the main worship service is completed, parents can then head to the Kids Church area and pick up their child. You can feel safe leaving your children in our care! All of our kid's leaders have been background checked and love serving in Kids Ministries.
